History of BNTI

From a Vision to a Legacy of Empowerment

A Vision for Empowerment

The idea for BNTI originated in 2007 when Cdre Jasim (Retd), then Commodore Superintendent Dockyard (CSD), witnessed Bangladeshi workers being mistreated abroad. This experience inspired a vision to empower Bangladeshi youth with skills and training. Upon his return, Cdre Jasim initiated the establishment of a vocational institute within BN Dockyard, which materialized as BNTI.
